Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering is concerned with the study of different principles and practical aspects that are having a direct association with the design and development of different telecommunication equipment. Further, this branch of engineering deals with digital transmission, analog transmission, voice and data, video reception, solid state devices, basic electronics, microprocessors, analog integrated circuits, analog and digital communication, microwave engineering, antennae, and wave progression.
Electronics and Telecommunications engineering graduates have the skillsets that make them an expert in developing prototypes of integrated circuit components.
JSPM’s course of B.E and B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunication is a 4-year program. In our curriculum we allow students to choose elective subjects like Semiconductor devices, Digital Logic Design, Network Theory, Signals and Systems, Analog Circuits, Communication Systems. Moreover, one can opt for Principles of Digital Communication, Microwave Engineering or Digital Signal Processing.
To become eligible for getting admission in the undergraduate course of JSPM’s Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering course a candidate need to pass 10+2 or senior secondary examination with minimum qualifying marks in aggregate Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics as the fundamental subjects. Whereas to seek admission in PG course one must have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering on Electronics and Communication. The subjects that are covered in this course are:
